Urban Outfitters Print Shop via Society6

Urban Outfitters has always been home to the uber hip and trendy. And, with great designers along the way like Mike Perry on staff, how could they be anything but than cool? I remember shopping their Cambridge, MA store when I was in art school. I had a pair of hot pink moccasins with baby blue beading that I wore to death and then gave to my friend Jerry Beck to use in one of his sculptures. (Jerry went on to found the Revolving Museum, and was the first to show our friends and classmates work, Doug and Mike Starn, at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.)

So now you can buy fine art prints through Urban Outfitters via Society6, as described on Society6′s website:

Society6 is an International artist community representing more than 70 countries worldwide. We will continuously comb through their enormous archives to bring you this curated collection of our favorites. Any items ordered from the PRINT SHOP will be processed and shipped by Society6.

You can also choose to use the images as a laptop, iPhone or iPod skin. How cool is that? For artists, it’s another channel to distribute work as fine art and product. For appreciators of art, it’s a way to incorporate great art in your life without breaking the bank. Everybody wins.
