Signage | We’re Open

Hanging a shingle outside to attract business is more about image and intrigue. I love interesting signage that represents what’s inside. It doesn’t matter if it is a well known brand or a stand alone store or business. Signage like any other graphic should follow a standard — great typography, readable and convey what’s inside. Adding a twist with color, light, photos and even humor can play an important part to making an impression on the street.

Berlin had its share of interesting stores and businesses — boutique to high-end design. We checked out many because the signage was cool. We did find a come back theme — vinyl record stores. Melting Point was one of seven in a two block radius.

Visuals displays and unique signage — more not less. Risky Business — new theme for MMX.
