We’re positive thinkers, though sometimes at a loss for what to say during certain situations. Like our wedding — when our vows were three lines of technical lingo — then we turned to one another and said “Live long and prosper,” while making the appropriate hand gestures.
It happened in a more casual situation last week while in a photo shoot at the Creative Circus. It came naturally, and we realize this is because it works. It’s way better than “Have a nice day.” And, although the hand gesture was originally derived from a Hebrew blessing symbol, it no longer carries any religious significance on Star Trek, nor is it political. Hurray.
Live long and prosper. Get out and work hard doing what you love. And, do it now!
(If you noticed how my bangs mimic those of Mr. Spock — that’s no accident. When telling Karl how I wanted my hair cut last week — he suggested telling my salon to reference Mr. Spock. Spot on!)
