My two design inspirations for the day. The first, perhaps because I was thinking Spring again this morning — when it was warm and I walked the snow-free streets of New York en route to Social Media Week events. I’ll have to thank the excellent folks at Grain Edit for supplying this one via their blog.
The second, maybe because the designer has the same name as me. At least the name I was born with, “Kyle,” which I’ve since legally changed to “kHyal.” But, maybe more because I LOVE corrugated cardboard and hoard when it finds its way to my doorstep. I’d rather recycle it as art, than in the the recycle bin. However, I’ve yet to make anything structural like the precise and gorgeous lettering of Kyle Bean. Turns out, he makes lots of other amazing things out of all kinds of materials. You can see much more on his website or a google search.
