We saw the work of Austin-based artist Court Lurie at The Artist Project in New York last weekend. A well traveled citizen of the world — she showed a solid body of abstracts that I found extremely compelling. Easy on the eyes — yet full of intrigue, mystery and what seemed like a simple portrayal of complexity.
