The ICFF is chock full of dazzling design and mesmerizing materials. We’ll no doubt be researching products and designers we experienced there for weeks to come. Product designer Sung Kug Kim’s baby pink bicycle with chrome plated ABS and walnut antler handlebars is an object of desire.
His company — Design Kug — creates a line of such objects. Some hang on the wall and can hold your jacket or scarf, or not. Some you can ride. All are beautifully made.
Design Kug was part of The British European Design Group at the ICFF. A non-profit collective which has helped over 2600 British companies, institutions and individuals in the creative industries exhibit their products and skills in key export markets around the world by accessing government and non-government funding.
