One of the most exciting new products at the ICFF came from Art of Board — a company born in 2004 that launched the first-ever skateboard deck recycling movement on Earth Day 2010 — AOB creates sustainable design solutions for residential and commercial applications via the colorful scraps from broken skateboard decks. The material can be grouted together like regular tile — has the wow factor of original street art — and is a product you can feel good about (re)using.
The Art of Board product line can be applied to commercial/residential interiors, retail environments, display and design, furniture and artwork.
On top of that — Art of Board donates a portion of their proceeds to the Tony Hawk Foundation, which supports youth and public skateparks.

It’s an amazing concept. Art of Board should be around for a long time! So different and fun! Would be any kids dream to have a bedroom decorated with Art of Board! (It’s about time we had skateboard parks that were accessible for our kids. My son has been skating since he was 10 – now 38 – and there was never a safe or ‘legal’ place to skate.)
hi rich,
Great job!
Proud of you,
